RVVR Sir Oddy (“Oddy”)
Sandy (Stormy Sey Reed) had on May 5th, 2008 an incredibly big bay colt with unique markings sired by
Ka Cee Smoker. He is foundation eligible (87.4%) and will be a stout colt (~ 15.1 h).

Oddy’s Pedigree goes back to Joe Reed, Peter McCue, Little Joe (by Traveler),
Sugar Bars (by Three Bars) and Depth Charge (by Bold Venture).
It includes performers like Mr Cabin Bar (H-57 P-17) by Sugar Bars (Hall of Fame), and Reed McCue (by Joe Reed)
and is based on the best of the old lines topped off with some excellent Thoroughbreds!

Oddy had some more ground work done and was shown at a local fair. He is not yet started under saddle but certainly ready! He matured into a big stout gelding that is very quiet but does move nicely with balanced gaits and a good, solid conformation: strong shoulder and hip, nice short top line and a good neck. He was always easy to work with and always minds his manners. A fine Foundation Gelding, level headed and stocky built!

He has one blue eye and one dark blue eye and this sure looks very fancy on this dark bay gelding! Oddy is a big, stout and strong guy - the well sought after foundation built.

He is well halter broke and had a saddle on. He is as his two full brothers extraordinarily quiet - he is not catty or fast but very balanced. His full brother is now started under saddle and also to drive and does great: very relaxed.
 

Oddy is growing and getting pretty stout. He is playful and tries to get some gras despite his long legs that make it hard to reach the ground.

Oddy had a pretty rough start into life as his mother lost so much milk before he was even born that
he didn’t get any antibodies. He picked up an infection and he was so good being treated!
 He gets bigger every day now and he got over it and is ready to move on now.
