Poca is a foundation bred chestnut mare (1998) by Freckles Oughta Doo (sorrel) and out of Poco Ruby Bars (sorrel). She carries the blood of Colonel Freckles, Otoe, The Ole Man, Pistols Bit, Poco Bueno and Doc Olena. She stands 14.3 h and is 87.3% FQHA. Click here for Poca’s Pedigree.

She is a good minded, honest horse that loves attention, is easy to handle and has much more speed than I expected her to have. She had 60 days of training in 2006 but I only used her as a broodmare. Special about her is the dark chestnut color combined with the flaxen gene and most likely the sooty color shade - this may yield, according to literature, the chocolate palomino color if combined with the cream gene.
